Social Change Poster: HomelessnessGraphic Design Work
When tasked with representing a social issue that has been brought about by my time in Albuquerque, New Mexico I decided to focus on the growing matter of homelessness. Even though homelessness is a very complex issue rooted in systemic problems, I decided it was right to represent it with the idea of rain or shine. The pre-made font (the sun) represents ignorant sayings that people of the working class have said about the unhoused while the custom-made font (the storm) displays quotes from homeless people themselves that might summon more empathy. The importance of using letters I found out in the environment displays that even in the lowest of times, people are able to keep going and piece themselves together no matter the situation they’ve been dealing with.
Potential Energy Drink Promotion Poster
Graphic Design Work
This poster was desiged with lots of intention considering how
much time my team and I put into planning. Our fabricated drink brand, Asteroid Energy, took lots of inspiration from the mid-
1900s when the space race was going on. To further build upon
the time period, I used pop art to really emphasize the nostalgia
that this piece evokes while maintaining important graphic
design principles like perspective, emphasis, grid systems, and closure.

This bright and vivid graphic design is one of the many I designed for my high school school soccer team. Looking back, I definitely could’ve improved on my typography but it remains one of my most visually pleasing and exciting projects.
Sci-Fi vs. Fantasy DigestDigital Art Work
This composition was compiled for a university honors class final, where I had to turn everything I learned into a visual story. I really wanted to display the subtle differences between both sides of the same tale in a colorful, cartoony, and silly piece that displayed the essence of child-like wonder.

These abstract images may look like they have no correlation to one another, but each composition was created by only using the alphabet to sclupt a picture. Through the combination of different elements of graphic design and interesting action verbs, I was able to arrange dynamic graphics that challenged me to also incorporate typography seamlessly into the piece. By making certain design choices and reflecting off of the type of feeling I wanted to evoke from each individual work, I achieved creating fierce visuals with limited materials, displaying my versatility.
